Zusammenfassung In der Psychotherapieausbildung ist eine Kompetenzorientierung, die Definition von Kompetenzprofilen, entlang Lernpfaden vermittelt werden, zentral. Mentalisierung beschreibt menschliche Fähigkeit, eigene und fremde psychische Zustände zu verstehen wird als Kernkompetenzen Psychotherapeut:innen angesehen. Bedarfserschließung New-Work-Bewegungen legen ein Kompetenzmanagement konstruktive interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit nahe.
